Water Conditioner & its types
Water conditioner is the term defined
for the system which changes the water quality and/or behavior. MAGNETIZER is
considered as the best water softeners and
is changing natrally, i.e. without a drop of chemicals the quality of water for
the best use of it in any water application. There are many types of water
conditionersused for filtering and removal of chlorine that improve the taste of water. Affordable
saltless water softeners are the type of water conditioners which work to reduce
the hardness of water by dissolving the ions of calcium or magnesium which are
present in our home tap water. You see it when hard water causes the films
which is left on dishes or glasses as a white residue.
There are many types of water
softeners available in the market which are described below.
Filtration of carbon
This types of affordable saltless water softeners are used
for the removal of some chemicals which are dissolved in water by getting
attracted towards carbon and its use is just to remove smells or tastes of
sulfur with chlorine in drinking or cooking water. These simple water
conditioners are not used for softening the water but remove the hardness
causing minerals from it.
Magnetic system
This is the system made up of
electromagnetic or magnetic water conditioners by using wrapped wires or
magnets around pipes for the creation of agitation of molecules in the water
which affects the salts of carbonate-forming deposits of scales in the water.
Catalytic Media
This type of water conditioners is
known as salt-free softeners which never use the exchange of ions for removal
of hardness quality of minerals.
How does water softener work?
The softening of water is meant for the removal of
hardness which causes the minerals such as calcium and magnesium from the water
by the process which is known as exchange and salt-based softeners include a
bed of resin for the filtration of water by exchanging the minerals with sodium
ions. And when this resin bed reaches its destination point or saturation level,
then the cycle of cleaning starts with the series of flushes by trapping
minerals and eliminating from the system.
